I’m delurking now – been keeping up w/your blogs for a couple months now. I am a scale freak too, but usually with stuff that has already been cooked or doesn’t need to be cooked (e.g., cooked meat in ounces, cheese in ounces, etc.)

For pasta, I just eyeball it before cooking, & then measure out my portion. 1/2 cup = 2 points, 1 cup = 4 pounts, etc. My hubby eats the rest!
